Believe in Yourself: My Story

Believe Yourself:
My Story

As I look at these photos from 2017 and 2021, I'm struck by how much my life has changed in just a few short years!

Back then, I was a bit of a vagabond, just living life on my own terms and not really caring about anyone else's expectations. I had dreams and passions, but I didn't bother to pursue them.

I wasn't taking care of myself, and I felt free.

Fast forward to today, I'm a 32+ year old man with a wonderful wife, a beautiful daughter, and a fulfilling career at a place where my intelligence is appreciated.

I'm writing regularly, working on my passions, and driven by high ambitions. I feel respected, inspired, and always moving forward, with a clear mission in life.

So what changed?

Honestly, nothing.

I'm still the same person at heart. But somewhere along the way, a small fear took root in me: the fear of staying average. It started out small, but it grew over time.

And eventually, I couldn't ignore it anymore.

I hated that fear, so I took action to face it. I started pushing myself to be more, to strive for excellence rather than just getting by. I'm not competing with anyone else - I'm just trying to be the best version of myself that I can be.

And that fear of staying average is what motivates me every day.

So if there's one thing I want you to take away from my story, it's this: believe in yourself.

Life has a way of picking us up when we least expect it, and sometimes all it takes is a little bit of faith in ourselves to get us on the right track.

Don't worry about what others think - just focus on becoming the best version of yourself, one day at a time. And who knows where that journey will take you?
